Supporting maritime security operations
EMDYN Platform is designed to meet the evolving needs of modern intelligence organisations and is a powerful tool for monitoring seagoing activity to support maritime security operations. Its scope encompasses the movement and location of sanctioned vessels, cargo ships attempting to smuggle oil or military hardware in direct contravention of international laws or hostile intelligence services surveying or targeting critical infrastructure. Onward movement can then be captured via ground-based sensors to complete the intelligence picture.
Multi-model tracking
Feeding a multitude of data sources into EMDYN Platform facilitates the tracking of movement or activities across several stages, from transporting cargo across land to a waiting vessel, the monitoring of a ship’s complete journey through to onward movement by sea, land or air to its destination point. Our analysts can conduct risk assessments and provide detailed threat reports on specific routes across a spectrum of commercial and private interests from off-shore oil and gas to private yacht security.
Shedding light on dark vessels
Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA) plays a vital role in guarding against threats posed by dark vessels which hide their position or identity to avoid detection or to engage directly in illicit activities. EMDYN Platform employs an array of sources from SIGINT, SAR, optical, AIS and real-time satellite imagery in a single application to help detect dark vessels. It supports surveillance operations by integrating live feeds from drones, satellites and ground-based sensors to monitor threats to military forces. Equally it helps secure military bases by mapping potential threat zones and integrating real-time data to monitor and respond to dangers.
